IWN already has several Studer cylindrical grinding machine models in operation which have proven their worth in recent years thanks to their reliability and short setup and changeover times. Since a few days the CNC universal cylindrical grinding machine S33 completes the Studer machine family at IWN. We purchased the S33 on a second hand in perfect condition. It will serve IWN well for many years to come.

The Studer S33 is a CNC universal cylindrical grinding machine. It is suitable for small but also large workpieces with a maximum weight of up to 150 kg. It can be used in individual, small and large-scale production and is therefore ideally suited for IWN's multi-variant productions in the field of external and internal grinding. The S33 has centre widths of 400 / 650 / 1,000 / 1,600 mm and a centre height of 175 mm.

The S33 can be converted in hardware and software from grinding between centres to fly grinding in a very short time. Its grinding head with two motor spindles enables even complex workpieces to be ground in just one clamping. The stable foundation made of Granitan® S103 mineral casting ensures stability.
