Cooperation with comprehensive school

Today the ceremonial signing of the cooperation agreement between the Martin-Niemöller-Comprehensive-School and IWN took place in our canteen.

The cooperation is part of two projects, the IHK - school - economy cooperation, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ostwestfalen zu Bielefeld and the working group SchoolEconomy in the Employers' Association Bielefeld e. V. (AGV). IWN Managing Director Bernd Brinkmann commented on today as follows: Through the mediation of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the AGV, we have been able to win another school as a partner school in the Martin-Niemöller-Comprehensive-School, which suits us very much. As partners, we can help each other.

IWN will support the comprehensive school with career orientation measures and develop its own offers. I am building on a long-term and successful cooperation with the Martin-Niemöller-Comprehensive-School, because this cooperation is very important to us! We all know that the shortage of skilled workers and the recruitment of young talent are among the greatest challenges currently facing german industry.

We now have the unique opportunity to recommend ourselves as an employer to hundreds of students – the specialists of tomorrow. Graduates of the Martin-Niemöller-Comprehensive-School will always have a "foot in the door" at IWN in the future. You will receive our increased attention when you apply. But for the second foot, i.e. the conclusion of an employment contract, they have to convince us of themselves just like everyone else."
