Retirement – after 26 years with IWN

Today we sent Holger Popp into his well-earned retirement after 26 years with IWN.

The highly experienced process developer in the milling shop will leave a gap in our company – we did not only notice this during the personal farewells, which already took place in the last days and were organized by the milling shop colleagues and the apprentices.

Holger Popp has been training manager for machining mechanics at IWN since 2007 and has trained many of our current skilled workers. With immediate effect, André Vonnahme will be responsible for his tasks as instructor.

Holger Popp will continue to drop by IWN occasionally in the future. He continues to be an active member of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) examination committee and will therefore be on site at least for the intermediate and final examinations of our prospective cutting machine operators.

Together, Managing Director Reinhold Schulte and Production Manager Andreas Peters presented a farewell gift basket filled with Mediterranean delicacies. Tobias Kassen gave him a greeting card from the staff, including money collected by the team for special occasions.
All those present thanked Holger Popp for the many years of good cooperation and wished him only the best and health for his upcoming new phase of life.
