Mr Wolf D. Meier-Scheuven, the President of the local (Ostwestfalen zu Bielefeld) Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and its current General Manager, Mr Thomas Niehoff together with the designated General Manager Ms Petra Pigerl-Radtke, were today honoured guests of IWN. The visit was part of the President`s "Training Tour".

With their visit, the Chamber acknowledged with esteem the dedication and commitment of IWN in the fields of apprenticeships, vocational training and higher education.

Following a welcoming speech from the General Manager Mr Reinhold Schulte, Mr Bastian Schulte explained the philosophy of the company IWN and introduced some of its products and services.

Subsequently, there was an informative round-table discussion, which the representatives from the Chamber of Commerce made use of for an intensive exchange with the employees of the company, especially those workers which are serving apprenticeships or other forms of training.

To round-off the event, the delegation from the Chamber were personally guided around the company`s premises by Mr Reinhold Schulte the General Manager.

IWN is very proud that the company had been selected as one of the stations of this important tour. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry is not only a partner in vocational training for us, rather they also support us with Youth Vocational Orientation projects. Good examples of this are the cooperation with the local school (the Kuhlo Realschule in Bielefeld), or the IHK`s project “Apprenticeship Ambassador” (Ausbildungsbotschafter).
